Each January, Whanganui Opera Week showcases the talent of the New Zealand Opera School students with a series of public events around the city, culminating in a grand gala concert at the Royal Whanganui Opera House. Recognized as a highlight on the regional events calendar, this celebrated festival attracts opera lovers from across New Zealand and beyond. This year, events will occur at Whanganui Regional Museum, Whanganui Collegiate, Momiji Restaurant, and Royal Whanganui Opera House.
