Job vacancy: Visitor Centre Consultant

The Whanganui i-SITE Visitor Centre is part of New Zealand's official nationwide tourism Visitor Information Network.

Reporting to the Manager i-SITE, we are looking for exceptional front-facing customer service consultants to increase our pool of staff. We have one permanent part-time position, at 20 hours per week (including one weekend day) available, and one casual position. Both roles require flexibility to cover roster needs around peak periods, staff leave, and to be available at short notice.

We are looking for cheerful and energetic people to join our team, you must demonstrate good listening and questioning techniques to ensure clients receive accurate information and sales are achieved where possible. You will need an ability to process bookings and ensure customers are satisfied with the quality of information they receive. If you thrive in teams and busy environments, have exceptional customer service and extensive local knowledge, and enjoy challenges and multi-tasking, we want to hear from you. Full training will be provided on the job.
