We have a vacancy for a Strategic Lead – Marketing to drive the marketing of the Whanganui District to all key target audiences as a highly desirable destination for new and existing businesses, residents, entrepreneurs, and investors, and to visitors, international students, and other target demographic groups.
The successful candidate will effectively be the district’s chief brand champion, guiding the marketing of Whanganui and its status as a UNESCO City of Design. They will also ensure the work of Whanganui & Partners itself is effectively promoted to key stakeholders. This role is also responsible for providing strategic funding support to events that help successfully position Whanganui as a great place.
This role offers the opportunity to be a leader in the Whanganui & Partners organisation and, more broadly, as a key person leading the growth of the region. You will play a crucial part in building Whanganui’s economic prosperity.
