That Place

That Place is a 50ha private mountain bike park for adrenaline-seeking mountain-bikers. Challenge the trails - built by mountain bikers for mountain bikers. That Place also offers the chance to increase skills through coaching and guiding.

That Place is a small private mountain bike park 30 minutes north of Whanganui city. To get there turn left on Kaiwhaiki Rd. You’ll find That Place at the end of the gravel road (approximately 10km) There are a range of intermediate to advanced trails and a flat loop for beginners. The park offers guiding, coaching and access to the mountain bike park. The space is also available to
walkers, runners and campers.

That Place is open from Thursday evening to Sunday evening. Staff at That Place give new visitors an induction and once riders have been inducted, they are able to ride whenever they want.
